Your weekly dose of motivation to keep the creative fire burning
Most people give up too early. Not because they don’t have talent, but because progress doesn’t always look exciting in the beginning.
That unfinished track sitting on your hard drive? It’s one decision away from becoming the release that gets you noticed.
That DJ mix you've had planned for weeks? It’s not gonna record itself.
And that label you’ve been putting off sending your tune to? You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Stop waiting for the perfect moment.
Do the thing today. Finish the tune, hit send, press record. Momentum comes from action.

Uncovering hidden gem websites, apps & hacks to give your music career a boost
Speaking of sending tracks out…
We all know it can be hard work sometimes to get a label or a DJ to actually listen to your new track, let alone play it or sign it…
That’s where TrackStack.app comes in.
It’s a slick platform built to get your music in front of the right ears. No more cold DMs or email black holes.
You can submit directly to label A&Rs and DJs who are actually open to new music, and track whether they’ve listened, downloaded, or even supported your tune.
Real feedback. Real connections. No gatekeeping.
If you're sitting on a banger, this might just be the push it needs. Check it out below…

Anarchy Fam Artist Spotlight: Rising Talent You Need to Hear
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on one of our Our Era forum OGs and long-time Anarchy Audioworx community legends... Ricardo Bouceiro, aka XPlunKa.
Hailing from Portugal, XPlunKa is a self taught producer, musician, and genre-fusing machine. Whether he’s crafting raw techno rollers, trippy acid house, or tearing into experimental tracks that blend guitars with electronica, every track he drops has a unique vibe. Wild, unpredictable, and undeniably creative.
This week we’re featuring his track ‘Is It Acid’. A mind-bending journey through satisfying 808 rhythms and synths.
XPlunKa has been part of the Our Era Community since day one, always bringing good vibes and support for other artists. He’s a valued member of the fam and an artist you should definitely have on your radar!
You can show him some support by hitting play, following his pages, and diving into his world via the links below 👇 Big ups Ricardo!

DJ mixes, live streams, and radio shows you need to hear
So, I’ve decided to add a new section into the weekly newsletter showcasing our DJs, streamers, and radio hosts in the community… as well as some other sick mixes I find during the week.
I’ve been hammering the ‘Progressive Sessions’ mix series from John Hughes on Soundcloud over the last few days during my workouts and walks. Massive tunes to keep you on a level. (I binged 9, 8, 7 and 6 in a row… they’re good!)
Expect deep, proggy, rolling, journey tunes… perfect for the gym, late-night sessions, commuting back and forth, or zoning in on your creative work.
His latest Progressive House mix is below. 100% one to check out!
Drop him a follow on Soundcloud to keep up with the new mixes.

The Underground: Fresh Music for Your Playlist
This week’s Track of the Week is HITZ 4 THE HOOD by Charlie Shell.
Bassline driven, bouncy, feel good vibes going on with this one.
A really cool crossover track that wouldn’t sound out of place in a Tech House, Speed Garage, House, or EDM set, if played at the right time.
We dropped it in our set the weekend at Zumhof through a Function One system, and that bassline RIPS!
Defo one for your record box.
Listen on Soundcloud below. (The Beatport buy link is on the Soundcloud player)

Plugin of the Week: Tools to Up Your Game
This weeks Plugin of the Week is: Scaler 3
If music theory isn’t your strong point, but you still want to build killer chord progressions and melodies, Scaler 3 is one for your plugin library.
Easily drag and drop chords to build a progression. Choose from hundreds of chord sets categorised by artist and mood, and Scaler will be able to tell you which parent scales fit well with those chords. Stuck for ideas? Ask Scaler to suggest chords that will work next.
It’s like having a music theory cheat code built right into your DAW.

Tone Empire has released EDYN preamp, a tube saturation plugin based on the classic Electrodyne 1204 console, and it’s completely free to download until May 20th.
EDYN preamp brings the character of a vintage mixing console to your DAW, offering a bold, punchy sound with plenty of analog vibe. Based on the image on Tone Empire’s website, I believe the plugin is modelled after the Electrodyne 1204 console, which was custom-built for Frank Sinatra.
However, EDYN preamp doesn’t attempt to recreate the entire channel strip. It’s a harmonic saturation tool that adds weight, presence, and midrange clarity… ideal for vocals, drums, guitars, or anything that needs more punch.
You can grab it below for free until May 20th.
That’s all for this week. Stay tuned for more awesomeness next Wednesday!
Have a great week!
