The Secret Sauce this week is slightly different to the usual, but IMO one of the most powerful ones yet…

Yesterday, I finished reading ‘The 1% Rule’ by Tommy Baker. An awesome book that will shift your mindset from frustrating struggle, to getting sh*t done!

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the size of your goals or stuck waiting for the “perfect time” to take action, this book will sort you out. The 1% Rule is all about showing up consistently, making small daily moves, and trusting that tiny, focused actions stack up to big wins over time.

For us music producers, DJs, and creatives, it’s a must read. Whatever stage you’re at on your mission, this book reminds you that you don’t need to blow the roof off every day, you just need to move the needle… and that you can enjoy it at the same time.

This week, we're shining the spotlight on a true legend and long-time friend of mine who was instrumental in getting my music noticed thanks to her support right back from the early 2000's: The one and only Amber D.

A powerhouse in the hard dance and trance scene, Amber has consistently pushed boundaries over the years with both her productions and DJ sets.

Her latest release, "Metal" is an uplifting Tech-Trance masterpiece. The chord progression is one of the best I've heard for a long time. Add that to the tough percussion, rolling bassline, and a sprinkling of acid to top it all off... you need this one on your USB stick!

Amber's influence extends beyond her productions. She's a seasoned DJ, record label owner, mentor, mental health ambassador, and also holds the live streaming record on Twitch for a 90 hour DJ set where she raised over £8000 for the "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" charity.

With accolades like Mixmag’s “Future Hero” award and performances on BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix, her contributions to the electronic music scene are monumental.

This weeks Mix of the Week: Chapter 1 Verse 1 with PSH

This dropped a couple of weeks ago on Flashmob Records. I only found it in my promo box Friday and it has literally been on repeat since.
